Join the Fun: If you'd love to Relay with us on August 2 - 3 jump right in and register a new team or join an existing team. You'll meet great people, have loads of fun and participate in awesome and inspiring ceremonies all while raising money for ACS. Registering is as simple as looking at the stars. Under the "Sign Up" star on the top right of this page simply click the link to "Start a Team" or "Join a Team".
Kudos: Hats off to Carrie, Geri, and everyone else who worked hard to make our kick off such a success! Emotion ran high as testimonials were given, inspiring videos were shown, and Relay information was presented. It was the boost everyone needed to take off and start the big push to Relay on August 2.
New Teams:
Relay Online: A big thanks goes out to all the teams that have registered online. We have 17 teams registered online now. That means four more teams have joined. Our goal for the 2008 Relay is 50 teams! We need 33 more teams.
Registering online is easy to do and it makes fundraising a breeze. Check back often for tips and info about Relay Online. Honey Bees and "Y" Not Relay are currently leading the online charge with 6 members registered online. Online Registration Offer: Cheryl teaches and will make her classroom lab available for team or individual registration nights. She is available Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights from 7:00 to 10:00. To make arrangements please email her at RelayRocks@gmail.com
Check It Out: New to Relay this year is the fact that luminarias can be ordered from the website. Really! It's true. By clicking the Luminaria link under the Donate star, you are taken to a screen where you can search for a participant or team to donate to. Once your desired info appears you simply click the participant or team name. That redirects the viewer to that personal or team page. It may seem like a lot of steps but it isn't. The entire process is very easy to follow. Let's light up Ojibway Island! Encourage online purchase of luminarias.

Each year, across the nation, one event brings together entire communities to take part in the fight against cancer. That event is the American Cancer Society Relay For Life®. It’s a time and place where people come to celebrate those who have survived cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and fight back against a disease that touches too many lives.
