Jeannie Blaylock of First Coast News to join Bartram Trail Relay For Life
|
The Committee, participants and Survivors would like to thank Jeannie Blaylock for her time and help in recognizing 126 cancer Survivors at our Event. Everyone was thankful that Ms. Blaylock took the time to join us to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back during our Survivor Ceremony with her husband Bill and her children Katie and Carson. She has been an inspiration to so many on the First Coast and throughout the nation as Buddy Check 12 continues to save lives through early detection and cancer awareness. She was recognized and made an Honorary Committee Member for her efforts that supported the Bartram Trail Relay For Life and will be welcomed at all future Relay For Life Events.
Each year, across the nation, one event brings together entire communities to take part in the fight against cancer. That event is the American Cancer Society Relay For Life®. It’s a time and place where people come to celebrate those who have survived cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and fight back against a disease that touches too many lives.
It’s not just an opportunity to celebrate, remember, and fight back! Your involvement will help the American Cancer Society work toward a mission of eliminating cancer as major health issue and will support much-needed services in your community. Thanks in part to the donations from Relay For Life and other events, the Society is saving lives, helping those touched by cancer, and empowering people to fight this disease all over the world.
If you’re interested in learning more about Bartram Trail Relay For Life, please email Terry Johnson at bartramrelay@comcast.net or call 904-230-3441.
Thanks for being a part of Relay For Life!

Brucci's Restaurant of Fruit Cove has recently joined our Fight against Cancer by providing a pizza dinner for the Student Team that raises the most money in 2008. Hannah Edwards of Brucci's, said that as a local business Brucci's wanted to get more involved with their Community. Honoring the top Student Team of our Relay with a pizza dinner is a great way to recognize our students for their efforts. Please support Brucci's for joining our Fight and honoring our Students!
